March 1 Kaiser Permanente Health Equity Scholarship Program

Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or community college, in the US, for the 2022-2023 academic year
Must have a permanent address and reside in one of the following states/districts: California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Oregon, Virginia, Washington, or Washington D.C.
Must be a graduating high school senior
Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent), earned from 9th grade through the first semester/term of 12th grade

March 3 Meg Graham Scholarship

The scholarship is available to graduating seniors living in DC, attending a DC public, private, parochial, or charter school, and matriculating to an accredited four-year college or university. The scholarship rewards a student who has demonstrated outstanding voluntarism with funds for college education expenses.

March 4 FCBA Foundation College Scholarship

The Foundation reviews applications from DC public high school students of diverse backgrounds with an interest in communications-related fields, including media, journalism, technology, engineering, or law.

March 6 Kiwanis Club of Washington DC

Any graduating high school senior who both resides in and attends school in the District of Columbia is eligible to apply for this scholarship program. This includes students at public, private, and charter schools throughout D.C.
Applicants will be judged primarily on leadership qualities as demonstrated by contributions to school and community.
Academic achievement as demonstrated by standardized test scores, grade point average, and transcripts, will serve as a secondary scoring metric.
Financial needs also will be evaluated.
You must be available to attend the awards luncheon on April 28th, 2022.

March 15 Be the Boss Scholarship

March 15 FormSwift Scholarship Program

You must be a graduating senior in high school or enrolled in college. Community college, professional college, and graduate students are all eligible, in addition to undergraduates at four-year universities.
You may not be related to any of FormSwift's staff or our extended family.
International students, including students from a college or graduating from a high school outside the United States, are also eligible to apply.
We reserve the right to verify the date of high school graduation and/or college enrollment.

March 17 PrepNext Career Scholarship

This scholarship provides students with an opportunity to fund their career-related expenses. This scholarship is specifically designed for students who are pursuing a career pathway or are actively working. The funds of up to $500 are meant to support students as they advance toward their career goals. The scholarship can cover a variety of career-related expenses, including (but not limited to) transportation costs, uniforms/clothing for work, gift cards for lunch during work hours, training/certification-related costs, and technology costs.

March 25 FCAC Scholarship Program

Be a permanent resident of the District of Columbia
Be African-American
Be a graduating senior from a District of Columbia high school (public, private, or charter)
Have applied or been accepted to enter an accredited1 four-year university or college as a full-time student in the school year immediately following the scholarship award
Complete the application in accordance with the application guidelines
Have a scholastic average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale through the end of the second quarter of their high school senior year.

March 31 Founders Centennial Scholarship

Must be a female senior high school senior who qualifies for free or reduced-fare lunch based upon U.S. Federal guidelines. NOTE: Applicants do not have to receive free or reduced-fare lunch, they simply need to meet the qualifications for it.
Must be graduating in May or June of the award year (2022) and enrolling as a full-time student at an accredited college or university in the fall of the same year.
Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Must demonstrate a moderate to significant financial need.
Must demonstrate a commitment to community service and involvement.
Affiliation with any members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, or any of its auxiliary organizations is not a requirement.

April 1 Montford Point Marine Association Washington, DC Scholarship

April 4 Abramson Scholarship

Be graduating in 2022 from a public or charter high school located in the District of Columbia (D.C.)
Be a D.C. resident (or be able to demonstrate compliance with D.C. law re: tuition payments for non-residents)
Be accepted to an accredited four-year college in the United States as a candidate for a degree
Have a demonstrated commitment to community service
Have a demonstrated economic need for financial assistance
Have a solid academic record demonstrated by a minimum overall GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale

April 9 Phi Beta Kappa Scholarship

Each year, the D.C. Area Phi Beta Kappa (PBK) Association offers four awards of $1,000 to graduating high school seniors living in the Washington, D.C. area to assist them with college or university tuition. D.C. PBK will present an award to four students who display sustained interest in the liberal arts and sciences, love of learning, and civic responsibility. Applicants must have a 3.5 unweighted GPA to apply.

April 16 Ira Dorsey Scholarship

This scholarship award is open to any male graduating high school senior that
Lives within the Greater Washington DC Metropolitan area (VA, DC, MD)
Possesses a cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale
Candidates may be rewarded only one of the IDSEF scholarships per year
Plans to attend a four-year college or university
* Sons or male dependents of members of the Xi Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Incorporated are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.

April 26 GEICO HBCU High School Changemaker Scholarship

Available to female high school seniors who will matriculate as a full-time student at an HBCU in the United States of America in the fall of the award year
Available to students with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (or the equivalent in schools using different scoring methods) and exemplary leadership experience in school and/or community settings as documented by official transcripts, in letters of recommendation, and on the application
Available to students whose collegiate major will be: Business, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or Marketing

April 30 ASBC Foundation Scholarship

Graduate from a high school in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (Washington, D.C.; Alexandria, VA; Arlington County, VA; Fairfax County, VA; Falls Church, VA; Prince William County, VA, and Prince Georges County, MD; Montgomery County, MD; or Charles County, MD) by June 30, of each year, or be a member of Alfred Street Baptist Church.
US citizenship.
Admitted to and committed to attending a four-year institution.
Demonstrated commitment to community service.
Maintain a solid academic record with a 2.5 or higher grade point average and SAT/ACT scores (if available).
Exhibit financial need.

Are US citizens/nationals, Permanent Resident Aliens, have been granted DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) by the US Customs and Immigration Service, or qualify for in-state tuition under the Maryland Dream Act or Virginia Dream Act. (Note: the 2020 Virginia Dream Act refers to the change in VA policy that allowed students who met certain criteria to receive in-state tuition through SB 935, "Tuition Equity Provision for High School Completers.)

June 15 ExtremeTerrain Student Scholarship

Description: Scholarship open to college/university students and high school seniors who are pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies, Ecology, Land Use, Earth & Atmosphere Sciences, Sustainable Land Management, Environmental Biology, or Sustainable Agriculture Systems. The application will include an essay about the recreational use of public lands.

June 30 Panda Cares First-Year Scholars Program

Description: The Panda Cares First-Year Scholars Program is a one-time postsecondary scholarship and college success program for graduating high school seniors entering their first year of college. Eligible applicants must possess a demonstrated financial need as verified by the student’s college or university; be a citizen, national, or legal permanent resident of the US; and plan to be enrolled as a full-time freshman in fall 2022, attending a U.S. four-year, accredited college or university.

July 15 DC Mayor's Scholarship Program

A graduate of a public high school in the District of Columbia (including DCPS and public charters), within the years 2008-2022,
New applicants who are current or recent high school students must provide their final transcript indicating a minimum GPA of 2.5. If you provide a current, but not final high school transcript, Mayor’s Scholars staff will request a final transcript prior to approval if you meet all other eligibility criteria.
New applicants who are currently seeking a GED/NEDP must provide a letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor, program director, principal, dean, or advisor at the high school, employer, or community-based organization.
Returning applicants for Mayor’s Scholars Undergraduate Program must provide their final college transcript (unofficial or official) or other proof of Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) at their current college or university. SAP is defined by each college or university, and typically includes a GPA of 2.0 or higher in addition to minimum credits earned.
New and returning applicants who have already enrolled in a college or university, who are not current awardees, must also provide their final college transcript (unofficial or official) to demonstrate a college GPA of 2.0 or higher.
